Absolutely yes; even if it's 50% safe. This is a thing that I'm longing to do.
Would you chage your nationality and origings to make of yourself another person? Maybe a rich one? Coz I'v notised that many do that nowadays.

Yes I would, it would be really intersting to become someone else and get a different perspective on things.
Would you ever purchase something you really didn't need because you wanted the free gift that came with it?
eh, well... yeah, i might... sometimes those things can be pretty nifty though!
Would you ever try to become a member of the school board just so that you could advise your principal? (if persay he was decidedly ignoring all your initiatives?)
No... I'm a very passive kind of person so I never take those initiative cos even when i have ideas and want to fight for them I just convince myself not to do it... I don't take initiatives easily.
Would you wait for your favourite singer/band after a concert or at the hotel or whatever just to see him/her/them?
I don't valorise people what ever they are. No I would not. I think I see them enough on TV.
Would you do everything your beloved may ask you?
*Almost* everything. :D
Same question. (In a hurry)
no, not everything.
would you ask someone to help you with a task for which you said before that you'll do it alone?
I usualy do things alone. If I made my mind to do somthing alone, I would not ask someone to help me unless his/her help is essencial for the acomplishement of the task at hand. The quality of what I'm doing is above all. Better do things in a good way with the help of people than spoil it for an act stupid.
Would you share your home with a stranger asking for help for a short time, let say 1 or 2 days?
I have before, but I knew the young man only slightly (and we still remain friends in good contact). If I invited a complete stranger, I would have to live alone (for others' safety), and make many, many restrictions. Regardless, if I had the space, sure, I would, to help someone.
Same question (a good one!).
Oh dear well sexist and stupid as this might sound I would share my house with a woman/ girl but never a man they couldnt be a complete stranger either Id have to either know them slightly or they would have know someone who I know at least halfish (ie not a complete stranger )

Not so long ago, we let in three refugee's from indonesia (Aceh) refugees of war, but all though we had never seen them or talked to them before, they did know someone we knew, so i guess they weren't complete strangers. To answer, i think i might be too prudish, but yeah if i had some sort of identification. there is a movie about that, can't remember what it's called, but a british guy "orders" a wife on the net, turns out she can only speak russian, and then some of her friends turn up, complete strangers to the guy and one of them goes berserk and tries to kill everybody... or something like that...
eh.. question. would you knowingly risk your life to help others. ex. A third world war zone?
Yes.
Would you risk your life to save strangers? What if they were convicted criminals?
Ouch, I am not very brave. I will answer 'no' to this, though I hope that I will act differently.
Would you give up your job, because you no longer like it when you have no alternative (yet)?
(heh Bianca, hello it's been a while!)
In theory yes, it's the kind of thing I always think I want to do... in practice I'm not sure I'd be that brave... but I've never had a 'real' job so I dont know...
Would you go to see the same show (like your favourite band's concert) for two nights in a row?
I have done so before with no regrets, and would do it again, provided I had the essential finances and spare time.
Would you ever adopt a Machiavellian lifestyle of morals (unnecessarily complimenting others, "brown nosing," in order to increase your status - in essence, using others as a means to your advantage)?
I might...in complete opposition to Kant, I might add.
Would you lie to save someone's life?
Of course, I lie for far less important reasons.
Would you kill to save someone's life?
I could, yes, but it really depends on the circumstances surrounding the event.
Would you rob a store if you didn't have money to feed your family? (yes, it IS your only option =) )
Yes, if that's the only option.
Would you be able to torture someone?
Uh - no. A definite no.
Would you parachute? :D Just to change the topic from robberies and torturings and murderings and I know not what else...
Hmm, to make it more interesting, would you parachute from a high mountain that nobody had ever parachuted from before because it was not considered safe? (Jaggy rocks poking at the sky from the side of the mountain)
I am not sure. I always wanted to try skydiving but I don't think that type of mountain would be the right place for a beginner.
Would you work in the space station?
I don't think so. I'm much more "earth bound" than such and I can't see what's so damn interesting about space... well apart from the beautiful starscape, and the funny wieghtless feelings, the rockets, and the weird tube food, and... well no, i wouldn't.
Would you take a time out of your life for a year to live in a greek cave for a year with only books and provisions? (someone I know is currently doing that, last time he speandt some time in an indian cave)
Honest to god, if I had the means and no family responsibility, I would! I'd prefer a log cabin full of books, but I'd settle for a cave. I long to get back to the simplicity of life, you know? It's all just become entirely too complicated. Ah well, I can dream.
Would you eat only live insects for a week if it meant you could take a month off of work, paid vacation?
No, I would never eat bugs, not for any reason; and, if I had such a long time off of work or school, I would probably get painstakingly bored. :D
Would you ever adopt a child?
potentially, but that is a question that lies to be confronted.
same question
To adopt a child is a decision that shoud be made by both partners. If my wife or me could not give birth to child, this question will probably occur to my mind. If my future spouse in those conditions whants to, I surely will.
Same Q. It's a good one Mono.

Let's see.....would you ever take a vow of silence for a period of time for spiritual growth and reflection? (have no clue where I came up with that, LOL, but it's the only thing I could think of!)
PS...hey.... now I'm not seeing the post I wrote this in reply too... I wonder if I accidently replied to a post that was earlier in the thread? LOL Anyway, the question was: Would you ever marry just to be married, and not necessarily out of love?
I DID marry just to be married. Not out of love. Big, BIG mistake. I'm not the only one, though.
Would you ever leave town and not tell a soul, if it meant saving someone's life you've never met?
Hmm....I think so.Quote:

Would you kill someone you didn't know to save someone you loved?
I'm not fit for killing. I don't have the blood of a killer. No I would not. My soul wont rest in peace if I do so. I can't do it.
Would you ever marry someone who has a different religion or no religion at all?
Why not?
Would you give away your dreams for some reason? (we mean those night-time dreams) Is there a thing that would make you give away your dreams?
The only thing that may make us give away our dreams is the reality of life. Dreams are from our imagination. They are a mirror of what we like ourselves to be and how life should be. Web are gods in them. We creat and manipulate the way we like. Reality is a different thing. It's the interpretation of our dereams with the touls and means available in the real life.
Would you ever do what your parents choose for you to do? (job, clothes, school....)
Not everything parents do is necessarily wrong or mean or ... ;)Quote:

Would you travel to country that is curently (when you're going to go there) at war?
It really depends on what countries continue in war. If you refer to a country in war with my country, then no, not out of prejudice feelings, but for my own safety of avoiding getting kidnapped. For other countries at war, not with my country, then sure.
Same question (good one, Themis ;)) --

No! Not safe...not even for a job purpose. I just wouldn't risk it. I'd get another job! ;)
I liked Taliesin's question:

Would you strike up a conversation with a deceased person's spirit if you could see the spirit?
I don't believe that the death can speak or that their spirit may stay in earth. I would be a good experience although I would not have the chance to do so simply because it is impossible to have an encounter with them.
Would you take medecines for all your life or do an unsertan surgery to cure an illness that you have?
I guess i would probably opt for surgery seeing my family history but Id let my family views sway my final dission because if I die then im dead thats it but they my family would have to live with it not me. Also it depends on how much the medicines would interfeer with my life.
Would you consider becoming an organ doner??
I'v lost two organs already and I don't think that I have much to give. But after muy death, why not saving the life of a person by giving him/her what I no longer need.
Would you give up the idea of getting married if the person that you love left you for someone else?
