Papayahed, I have no idea who the Postal Service is. I googled the lyrics to just to see what would come up and that's all that comes up but I know of it as an Iron & Wine song...I had no clue it was a cover...you learn something new every day. :p You know, it's funny though because I've always though it was a weird song for Iron & Wine, their songs are usually kind of dark and depressing and this was such a sweet little love song...now I know why.

Jim Caroll ~ People Who Died. You know, Papayahed, you have unwittingly solved a huge mystery for me. I didn't know the lyrics, they were hauntingly familar but I had to google them and when I did, I discovered that was the song that has been driving me nuts for years. My high school friends used to listen to that song every now and then but I never knew who it was, the only thing I could remember was the line, "They were all my friends, and they died". When I asked one of my friends a few years later who sang that song, she had no clue what song I was talking about, I began to think I just made the whole thing up...but now I know, it's called People Who Died and it's by Jim Carroll and I feel vindicated. Thank you, Papayhed. :D
