Ugh. Extreme temperatures vex me. That's why I long for the S.F. Bay Area in times of insanity. I lived in the east, west, and south bay spanning almost half of my life (~45 %) and now reside in the California Gold Country.
Going to go with too hot.
Watching sci-fi or sit-coms on the telly ?
-
Oh, gods, tailor, sci fi. A no brainer, my lad. As it is, the last sitcoms I'm aware of that tickled my funny bone were of the M*A*S*H, Mary Tyler Moore Show, generation. Yes, I'm old, but more to the point, comedy took a nose dive when the Great Dumbing Down began some decades ago. (And not a Seinfeld fan, personally.)
An enema or a long walk or jog to alleviate constipation? Note how I choose the delicate topics.
-
have never suffered from the condition, but hands down, the walk/jog...
grew up watching M*A*S*H, still will watch it when I see it...one of my very favorite tv scenes from all time comes from an episode.
not the actual shows themselves, but rather the thing the shows illustrate, that is, the foundation of the shows:
American pickers or pawn stars?
-
Pawn Stars
Darjeeling or Earl Grey?
-
Both good choices, but I'll stick with Earl Grey--hard to beat that, though I do drink lapsang souchang as my standard tea.
A baseball bat weapon, i.e. something that started as a simple baseball bat but grew metal spikes on the end or broken glass stuck to it with false nail glue, or a neck knife, the kind designed to puncture and be dragged across the carotid artery?
-
Yea. I always have at least one knife on me if I am not in my jammies. I have them from 11/2 inches to more than a foot. At times I could totally pull a Crocodile Dundee: "That's not a knife. Now, this," Pulling out a heavy bowie over a foot long is a knife!"
Nunchucks?
-
The problem with nunchaku, unless you're skilled in their use, is the overwhelming likelihood of giving yourself a concussion, and leaving your opponent, far from bleeding on the ground, doubled over with laughter. I'll take the baseball bat weapon any day.
Underground bunker fashioned from an old shipping container, or a cabin or other stable long-term above ground structure you've built, somewhere deep in the woods, far from prying eyes?
-
Cabin, as far away from civilization as possible
Ty, they are also hard on the privates until you learn how to use them. I speak from experience! :D
Pistol or shotgun for home protection?
-
Oh, procreative activity, shotgun! Just that instantly recognizable pumping sound, the one famously said to stop any home invader in his tracks, that sound alone is enough to cause instant and invincible tumescence! So give me that mag fed pump-action Mossberg with the pistol grip all the way, baby!
Same options, pistol or shotgun, but this time for defense/survival during a SHTF scenario when you bug out.
-
seems to me, with the exception of the extra burden carrying of it, a shotgun effectively can do everything a pistol can, and more so its gotta be that.
winters with temperatures in the 20s and 30s and snow, or winters in the 30s and 40s and rain?
-
The latter, the latter. I always pray that snow falls where people appreciate it. El Niño treats my environs with tenderness for the most part; not so much world-wide though.
The decade: 60's or 80's ?
-
80's
Zombies or Vampires?
-
Vampires. To me Zombies are the white eyed thin dead men from Haiti (As in I Walked With a Zombie)
Frankenstein's Monster or Gill Man?
-
Frankenstein's Monster
Mothra or Gamera ?
-
i think i'll go with gamera. I suspect he was the inspiration for the monsters in pacific rim. has anyone seen that movie? pretty neat.
blue oyster cult's Godzilla or edgar winters group Frankenstein?
(how's that for an inspired post?)
