Yes, and I picture them in frightening situations, assuming, as I do, that they've all been disappeared by Them. You know, the Gobblers. The ones wot come wiv a potato sack in da middle o' da noyt and knocks you over the 'ead. Such that you're never seen again--know whut I mean?
The Waitresses' "I Know What Boys Like" or Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy"?

What's more shocking: The fact that most people will take the extra effort to message/text, even driving or the demise of the music video?
-
ive sometimes wondered, when music videos can cost hundreds of thousands, and sometimes into the millions of dollars to produce, what the pay-off is for the artists?
tony if I take the first part of your question to mean people shouldn't be texting when they are driving in particular, and that people spend too much time texting in general---i'll go with all that one being more shocking. I actually find it disturbing.
large sold out auditorium for a concert or a small intimate coffee house/pub type show?
-
Oh, god, no-brainer: small venue. Mind you, my youth was filled with stadium shows, wouldn't trade it for the world, those memories, but it was also filled with once in a lifetime small shows, and continues to be. Don't think I'd go to an arena show at my age, or enjoy it, it is the intimate connection between audience and performer in a small venue that makes for magic. Or, possibly, beads of sweat landing on you.
Hemorrhoids that go away in three days or a cold that lasts for a week?
-
having never had the former, and knowing the latter is very tolerable, i'll go with the safe bet and say the cold.
recorded live music or studio music?
-
Studio I really don't care for recorded live music.
French Fires or Onion Rings?
-
Fries
Apple or Cherry Pie?
-
Apple. And the recorded live music one is big with me, going back, yea, to my youth. Most recorded rock music blows because instead of getting a new album of new songs, you get a live album on which the songs don't sound notably different from the original studio recording, i.e., a total waste. With progressive rock, jazz, blues, fusion and rock that's played by the better rock musicians out there, though, live is everything, mon, everything.
And bounty, what's this I've never had hemorrhoids thing? Seriously? You sir, are a lucky man.
A dose of embarrassment or an equal dose of pain?
-
I have a high threshold for pain and it doesn't bother me that much, so a dose of pain. I am used to be being rather accident prone.
with that
tattoo or piercing?
-
Piercing. I had one at one point, as mentioned aforetime this evening, in me ear. Tattoos, on the other hand, I wouldn't get for love or money.

star wars or star trek?
-
Star Wars for more realistic aliens, Star Trek for the adventures.
Country or Rock music?
-
Rock. I respect the talent and technical accomplishment of many country musicians, and that goes double for bluegrass, but I's a rock boy.
bounty, yes, Tomoyasu is cool.
Hostile ETs landing in an Illinois wheat field or Godzilla rising out of the ocean off the coast of Maine?
-
the fun thing about a large segment of today's country music is its merging with rock, or at least pop rock.
absolutely give a listen Miranda lambert's fastest girl in town, carrie underwood's cowboy Casanova, gloriana's trouble, and reba McIntyre's going out like that.
if you want some male artist recommendations after you've eaten those songs up, lemme know! smiles...
tyrion, will you check out blind joe's audition on the voice? if it hadn't been for love, by the steeldrivers.
hmmm, that's a toughie. I don't like for anyone to get hurt, or anything for that matter...I think since we already know how to defeat Godzilla, id go with him.
