I am into socio linguistics and phonetics/
I am fascinated by regional accents and what makes them to be.

Hmmm... love all the sciences: My first loves were paleontology and astronomy as a youth. Looking back I wish I could have gotten into the nuclear sciences.
What innovation(s) are you most anxiously anticipating ?
Can't wait til new innovations in Forensic Science are permittable in court. (lots of stuff on brain waves measured with suggestive images...etc.)

You're on a desert island with plenty of fresh water and food: What two hand-tools would you like most to have available and why ?
Since there is plenty of food/water, and I am NOT adept with any tools, really, I will say that a piano and i'd be happy.
Is there any instrument that you cannot bear the sound of? And why?
Not really... any instrument handled adeptly has its charms... even accordions.
