Mine too and it seems to be working so far but don't forget to turn it inside out!
If your machine does not have that setting, maybe you can put your blouse into a pillow case and wash it like that in the gentle cycle. The pillow case protects the beads and such.
I use the pillow case to clean my trainers in the washing machine too! :p
my sister put a handwash beaded top into the washing machine and washed it on the hand wash setting. The top was almost beadless when it came out.
Ive always found handwashing to work well my only problem with it is things take foreverr and a day to dry becuase I just havent the knack for wringing clothes outr properly.
Oh and Annamariah if the bras are underwired maybe you shoulkd use a pillocase or brabag, my bra broke in the washingmachine and the wire perferated the drum and broke the whole washing machine... lets just say my mum was not a happy bunny that day. :D
hmmm my washing machine is a cheapy that came with the apartment. The first time I washed my bras I put it on what I thought was the gentle cycle and my bras came out a tangled twisted mess.:bawling:
Bra-llelujah! http://www.alamodelingerie.com/Detail.bok?no=185
Have any of you worn one of these? I’m wearing one now and I may never take it off. It’s fantastic!
^^ It`s not the type I like, but I agree with the color being fascinating :D it`s deceiving
I don`t think I have ever heard of the handwash setting. How is it like? llol is it a hard Q?
The problem is the colour... I cant really tell .
But I have ISSUES that Im not going to bore people with other than to comment Im fairly sure that most bras are either designed by men with no common sense what so ever or people with breasts so small that they never realise that the main point of a bra is support not how aestheticly pleasing they are to the eye... Last year I was wondering around a bra shop and saw that some brightspark thought you could have H cup bra with tiny ribbon straps, now think about that logically for a minute, and I actually know a case of this happening with a brand new bra wit a girl in the larger sizes, that is NOT going to work either you end up with cuts on your shoulders from the straps.... or and this is what happened to the poor person ... you bend over the bra snaps and you end up with half your bra falling out in public.... mortification.
On other bra related matters.... apparantly underwire bras can badly damage breasts in early teens... apparntly you supposed to buy them flexi bras... or nonwired, which for some reason are almost impossible to buy nowadays in the really small sizes. :eek2:
Oh, I have so many complaints about bras that I don't even know where to start.
In the first place, there's not much selection when you get on up there in size. The selections available may or may not be comfortable or they may not go with your clothes. Try finding a strapless in anything beyond a DD. Or a T back. Or a smooth cup for wearing under T-shirts. And why do they have those flimsy straps on bigger bras? They cause permanent grooves to form in the shoulders. And why are the padded straps so ugly? And you're pretty much stuck wearing underwire.
And what if you did want something in a color other than beige or black or white? Try finding a cute bra in a large size. If you find one, it's probably VERY expensive. And where do companies get off charging $60 for a bra that's going to fall apart anyway???
Did you know that the life span of a bra is supposed to be 3-6 months? (this was actually my job once upon a time). Why would you pay $60 bucks for something that's going to last 3 months? But the more bras you have the longer they last, especially if you don't wear the same one everyday. The sweat and body oils break a bra down (that's what they told me in bra training class ). To make a bra last longer, you're supposed to either hand wash it or put it in the washing machine in a pillowcase or a lingerie bag. This keeps the bra from getting all twisted up in the spinner. It also protects the underwire. If you put your bra in the washing machine by itself you'll warp the underwire and it will dig into your skin and cut you.
And Sports Bras...try finding one that fits anyone who is not a member of the itty bitty t**** committee. Enell - $60. Recommended by Oprah. but you have to special order it and the sizes run weird. It works better than the other options out there, if you have the patience to wait for it. And you can't try it on before purchase... If you can't find a sports bra, you just gotta where two or three to go jogging in.
I agree with Shal. I dispise underwires but the non-underwires just don't feel like they have as much support.
my point exactly!
Actually I have seen them but they dont work the bra just gives way under the wieght... the problem with them is t are just the same design biggerQuote:

uh hvent had the problem then again they dont really make that many bras in sizes biigger than a DD or say the most an E , I once went to the specialist lingre shop we have in town and the people ther told me there was no such thing as a size bigger than a DD... eh what? But I have seen Fs with padded cups...why?Quote:

Well humm that might explain a lot... Ive never heard thaparicular phrase shal...:D
Hummm have you tried ...I think Doreen bras nonwired and plenty of support problem is you end up with permenant scars on your waist and hips f you wear them all the time. Mind you I havent been able to find that particular model as were of bra with the long waist for a couple of years...
You know what, obviously making bras is the way to make lots of money, never mind uni maybe I should start making nice bras in larger sizes for a living :D :p
what really bugs me are the women that wear the bras that don't fit right, is there anything worse then the bra muffin top?? What's worse is when you happen to look down and realize YOU are sporting the bra muffin top.
