favorite line from a written work?
oops... i tried to answer the last question on the page before that.
I'm a big fan of the line:
"Shut up!" He explained
i don't know where its from.
Same question.
Yikes, tough question!
The first that comes to mind, from John Keats' "Endymion:" A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
To the person below me: I liked Scher's question: how would you complete the sentence 'I wish . . .'?
I wish I was.
how would you complete the sentence:
I wish the hairy baboon would stop...
...breathing. His heavy breathing makes me want to scream. That, and the way he always leaves toothpaste all over the sink.
What's your favourite vegetable?
aubergine
What is your least favorite vegetable?
Aubergines are in my top veggies! Lovely coated in seasoned flour and shallow fried in olive oil! MMM!
My least favourite is probably asparagus.
How do I start a new thread? I thought it would be good to get a game going. Here are the rules:
Take five books at random from your shelf. Then construct a paragraph from the following:
Book #1 -- first sentence,
Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty,
Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred,
Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty,
Book #5 -- final sentence of the book.
So my question is, how do I start a new thread?
Wow I thought I would have a hard question. Go to where ever you want the thred to be click on the icon "new thread". then make a title above the message and right the message. click submit and you're done.
Question: Do you have good pizza shops around where you reside?
yes, yes, and yes! Pizzicato at at 3rd and Market (248 Market to be exact); their food is 100% to die for! the pizzas, the salads, the service, the decor, oh my goodness this is it. (Olde City Philly, btw.)
would you pick flowers for the one you love?
I'd kill for the one I love so yeah.
Where do you keep your confidence?
How strange that there exists a Pizzicato near the corner of 3rd and Market in my downtown city. :eek:Quote:

To the person below me: where do you go, and what do you do, usually, during your spare time?
In my spare time you can always find me poisoning pigeons in the park.
Did you have a lunchbox growing up?
Yes, I did have a lunch box growing up but unfortunately I forgot to water it and it died, although this could also have been through lack of weeding as I am not the most expert of gardeners.
Where is your favourite park and what do you like best about it?
