I like them because of the fact that you are outside as opposed to being in some arena (for obvious reasons -- security, the seating etc) but sometimes the sound quality is bad (I saw Jewel once at an outdoor concert and I think it could have been better inside)

Well, it depends on which sitcom it is. I am not going to watch a sitcom just because it's a sitcom. And I am not going to not watch a show just because it is a sitcom and has canned laughter. It just depends on whether it's good or not.
Right now, the good ones on prime time (according to me) are Two and a Half Men, According to Jim, and How I Met Your Mother (I think that's what it's called). And honorable mention goes to the New Adventures of Old Christine (you have to warm up to this one).
Starbucks coffee (be honest)
