Sadly, no. They even tore down Roselawn, an historic house that had something to do with him to make way for the new firestation! But each year the is a Sherwood Anderson Short Story Contest in his honor, and Ripshin, his writing cabin is well mantained and only about a half-hour's drive across two mountain's, about three miles from where my father-in-law owns land. I've been there several times. They filmed a movie in town and redid a section of an alley just off main street for the set. The town father's liked the decor, and now all of main street's sidewalks are redone to match, and many buildings have been or are in process of being restored. But for the change in Automobiles, it is beginning to look the same as the pictices on the library wall... ;)Quote:
