sure...
if i tell you mine, will you tell me yours?
use pm!!!
Sure I will (in fact, I thought you knew mine.... hmm.)
Provided yours is the truth.
Would you... help me think of more would you questions?
Sure.
A very dark 'would-you' question, but would you seek the death penalty for someone who murdered a loved one of yours? What if the loved one turned out as another of your loved ones?
No. The deathpenalty is about vindiction. He has a family too, they will survive him, and I, of all people should be able to place myself in their shoes. (My uncle was killed many yeasr ago at 19. My family made no charges.)
Would you visit someone in prison?
not unless they were family or a close friend
would you go cordless bungee jumping?
Maybe yes, maybe no. Depends on what it means.
Would you tell me to go to sleep because it is almost midnight?
Go to bed.
Can you sing me a lullaby?
No but rock we can do
Would you rat your best friend out to the police for something minor?
no.
If I sang out of tune would you stand up and walk out on me?
Never, papayahed! Then again, you ask someone with one of the worst singing voices alive!
If you could save one endangered species, what animal would you save?
DINOSAURS
You can learn how to fly but you have to saw off your arms. Would you do it?
No, but maybe a finger or two.
If aliens showed up on earth and said we will give you everything you need for a happy life for you and your family but you have to give up either reading or music which if any would you give up?
Wow, I guess I would take my chances without the aliens help. :alien: :alien: No deal. :D
Same question. ;)
i'd give up reading then i'd ask them to give it back, since they said they'll give me everything.
would you pose in the nude in a dirty magazine for a million dollars?
Possibly, I really see any shame in the human body.
would you rather get free airfare anywhere for 10 years or all the books you can read for 10 years(no stockpiling - read one, you get one)?
Good question. Not to go on a tangent, or anything, but Emerson wrote of this at great length - explore the world, or explore the mind? He postulated that some people travel for the unconscious purpose of distraction from one's self, a bit Freudian, I know - coping mechanisms of the projection of unconscious desires to the outer world, but how would life seem as a shut-in recluse?
Honestly, I would choose the books, upon the condition that I could own them after reading them.
Same question.
I'd choose the free airfrare. I've been reading books about places all over the world since I was a kid and my mind often went wild for wanting to visit them. So far, I've been to 20 countries and I want to see more of the world :).
Would you lie for money (assume it's a huge amount of money)?
I'm not a very good liar. I guilt trip mid lie and crack if I ever try, but for a good cause, I might toss a creative version of the truth. So much for my morals
Would you be a Sith? because deal in absolutes, only Siths do.
It will depend on two things: type of lie and / or my need for money at that time.
same question...
A sith? No.
Would you stay over night in a haunted house?
Yes
Would you steal from the rich to give to the poor
Yes. And by the way, I'm pretty poor.
To what length would you go to see someone happy?
To endless depths, especially for someone I love, whether intimately or Platonic (family, friends). I have, however, committed a few random acts of kindness; about a month ago, during an awful snowstorm that lasted nearly a week, a homeless couple who had gotten their sleeping bags, blankets, and extra clothes stolen, sat outside in the snow, begging for any spare change. Feeling awful for them, I took them into a nearby restaurant, bought them some take-out food, then to a hostel, and bought them a room, a few nights' worth, to stay out of the cold, until the snow was expected to melt.
Inspired by another question on the 'Ask the Person Below You' game, if a director wanted to make a film based upon your life, which actor/actress would you choose to play you?
That's very lovely, Mono!
Ow, I don't really have a fav female actress, but I think Rene Zellweger would do :).
Would you audtion for American Idol?
No, I have no singing abilities, and wouldn't want to be that person that people make fun of and watch on you tube a thousand times...
if you had to die today, how would you go out? (in which way would you want to die)?
Naturally when doing the things I do, I think.
Would you work overtime without getting paid?
Depends what I'd be doing. Right now I get paid overtime to go to bookreadings where I'm served wine and cheese.... Yeah, I could do that without getting paid. (But psst, Sub! Maersk has so much money he needs to pay you for overtime ;))
Would you learn another language just to read the book in it's original words?
Ha ha....I wish!
Yes, I'd definetly try to learn a language just for the sake of reading books in originally written in that language. Lost in translation is a common thing in books translations!!!
If you were someone else and not your current self, would you find yourself attractive?
yes!!!!
would you like to see someting scary?
Sure, I see it every time I go into the 'Dave Matthews Band has the best Lyrics' thread.
How far would you go to have the best Halloween costume/dress-up/impression?
Been there done that, I've payed, I've sowed, I've glued body parts to myself, I love dress ups, face paints, and all that. :) *runs to find her tiger costume* Deep down, I'm just a little kid who likes to think she is all those things in her dress up box.
What costume would you choose?
I have not dressed up for Halloween in quite some time, but I remember one costume I put together, in my high school days, took a lot of effort; I jokingly dressed up as a hermaphrodite - the whole right side of my body male, the left side female. On my right side, I wore a white buttoned-up shirt, black slacks, and a dress shoe; having cut the shirt and pants vertically in half, I sewed half of a white and pink flowered dress to the left, knee-length, thick white hose (so I would not have to shave my left leg), and white female dress shoes. At the time, having had somewhat long hair, on the right side, I let it flow freely, and a friend of mine braided the left side; additionally, she did the make-up on the left side of my face, and I grew a bit of facial hair on my right side.
It took hours!
As my costume certainly did look scary, would you ever put this much effort into a Halloween costume?
Mono, that's really awesome! And for answer, i absolutely would put that much effort into a costume! I'd even cut my hair 'for kicks'. I know of a little house in the centre of copenhagen, and the wonderful wacky people who live there have theme parites on a regular basis, We've turned the house into a major pirat ship, a graveyard, a ball from the colonies, you mention it, next time it's "a delayed goodbye party", for a minister who died decades ago. I love it, and always make great effort to dress up, and am currently known as "The Queen of the ball, in the house of dead children" House of dead children being the name of our little castle.
Would you stay to clean up after a party of over 50 young people?
That sounds like quite the party! If I created some of the mess, and cared anything for the thrower of the party, I would probably help at least a little, even if the party thrower kinda-sorta asked for it. Personally, I could not fit that many people in my apartment comfortably; my former neighbors, however, who got evicted last week, could, and did it on a regular basis.
If you chose to get involved with some sort of movie, would you prefer the role of starring actor/actress, supporting actor/actress, director, or writer, and why?
Knowing me I'd be trying to do all parts. I'd have to go for director then, 'cause I'd be allowed to play all the parts and essentially make all the decisions.
Would you trust your intuition?
From day-to-day decisions, I do constantly; at work, only occasionally will I trust my 'gut feeling.' I suppose it depends on the circumstances.
Same question, for lack of thinking of anything original. :D
I rarely do, and always regret it when I don't.
Would you throw a book in the trash?
I have before, but only because it had gotten accidently doused and soaked with coffee - it meant little to me, regardless.
If you craved coffee, and a respected independent coffeehouse existed several blocks away, but a corporate chain coffeehouse existed one block away, which would you go to?
The independant. I'm a creature of habit.
Would you spend money on expensive organic food, or simply buy the normal, but cheaper products?
Not including that boxed, junky, sodium-filled food, which I eat from time-to-time, I always buy organic.
If you could have any songwriter write a song about you, dead or alive, who would you choose, and why?
