Moby DIck from 1950 something. It was a very interesting movie with little or no excitement. It gave me some things to think about, but I found myself yawning when I shouldn't have been.

COmpletely overacted. Special effects better than I expected they would be for a 1950s show.

Pirates 3 good movie not near the quality of the first but much better than the second ill give it a 7 for humor, effects, and setting up the next movie

Shrek the third. Very charming, funny and still enjoyable third movie out in a series. That usually isn't true, I don't normally consider sequels all that great, but this movie was a solid 8.5/10 :thumbs_up

Stay with Ewan McGregor and Ryan Gosling. It was fascinating, moody, confusing and I really liked it. The only problem I had was with Ewan's wardrobe, what was with the freakishly short pants? Was it simply a poor fashion choice or do they have some deeper, symbolic meaning?

Saw Zodiac yesterday. Great detective story, perhaps a tiny bit longer than necessary, but all good nonetheless.

I give it 8,5 crisaors.

I am watching In Her Shoes (which I think is based on a book by Jennifer Weiner). This is not the first time I have seen this movie, but I really like it, even though some may consider it to be a cheesy chic flick.

My favorite scene is the one where the blind English professor gets Maggie to read him a poem in the nursing home. Maggie has a learning disability and can't read very well, and she tells him that she is a slow reader, and he tells her that he is a slow listener. She gets through her first poem and then he makes her discuss the poem the way you would in a freshman college English class and gives her a boost of confidence.

I like this movie so much (just because of that scene) that I may have posted this before.

Oh yeah, and the stepmother is perfectly despicable.

Piriates 3. Liked the twist of how to get rid of Davey Jones and free his crew at the same time. Liked the set-up for the next movie. Otherwise, too many backstabings going on. 7/10

I really liked that movie! I thought Cameron Diaz was brilliant in that movie. Deffinately one of her best roles.

Video Drone

Just watched Once Upon a Time in America (way back from 1984). Very good and straightforward movie, would give it a 10/10 if it wasn't for the uncleanness of the ending, so 9/10.
