Interesting question, Nightshade. Can a human necessarily perceive objectively, in the first place? Perhaps by perceiving something from multiple perspectives (in an analytical and holistic manner) would get one closer to objectivity, as you asked "be distanced from it," but, as Immanuel Kant and Rene Descartes would reply, the senses have many faults, and as one person would distinguish red and orange, a color-blind person would call them the same. Could one conclude that red and orange have a difference, a color-blind person not have the same quality of perception, or that no difference between any colors exists?Quote:
