*hands uncc49er06 a cup of coffee*
Creamer?
Honey or sugar?
I'll have it plain myself.
Honey is good in coffee!
I was very interested in all your comments on hair. When I was in middle school I was a cheerleader and we all had to have extremely long, no frizz, shiney hair, which meant washing it and creaming it each night and doing whatever each one of us had to do to get the sleek look. One of my friends had perfect and I mean perfect straight hair, not a frizzy hair in sight. It was about down to her waist and she needed a trim to get it all the same length and trusted no one. She asked me to do it and I was terrified. But I did it and she was so happy with the results she told everyone. In no time I was cutting hair. And as I had mostly cut my own or cut and styled it just by looking at a magazine picture I liked that was the next thing that I ended up doing , first for girls, and then for girls and guys. I would come home after an incredibly long day of work(research for legal and other) and there would be guys or girls, but mostly guys sitting on the step waiting for me to cut their hair for a prom or whatever. So I got rather interested in hair itself and studied all I could find on the subject and then I began making my own preparations to achieve that 'perfect' for me anyway look. The actual thought of going into hairdressing is a yawn for me, but still I like trying different things out.
I don't really care much for layered looks except if it is on the fringe (bangs) and they are quite long. The reason is that each hair shaft is like a mirror, if all the mirrors are the same length there is a radiance and gloss that is lost through layering. That to me is like smashing a mirror. You get little glints but nothing more. , So long or short I tend to keep it one length with perhaps a tiny variation like bangs for a change. I went from having absolutely straight hair u ntil about twenty and now it waves but is still soft like a child's. And thick, very thick. So it is work.
Come to Tallahassee and do mine :D
  :thumbs_up Good story! :D
That is basically why I like to have longer hair. It can get in the way sometimes, but, for me, it is actually a lot more managable. Not only that, when I am in doubt, I can always just tie it back into a ponytail or braid it.
I used to have enviable hair! :( I haven't the vaguest idea why it seems so dead and flat now. I think it is the shampoo I have been using. I used to use a generic kind that I absolutely loved (but I can't find it anywhere anymore:( ). This name brand stuff is a killer for me!Quote:
My mum has super straight hair and envies me so much. Well I do have enviable hair. :D
hey girls,
my hubby (boy friend) is getting skinnier and skinnier. he's 1.93 metres (6' 4" ?) tall. last year he weighed 74 kg (163 lb???), now he weighs only 70 kg (154 lb???).
maybe it's because he used to eat meat regularly, but now he's 80% veggie? but I gained a lot of weight when I became a veggie, so I don't think it's because of that?
do you know any food that is healthy but will make him gain weight at the same time? i don't mean french fries or the infamous banana+ice cream shake...
does soy/ tofu make you put on weight?

This has been bugging me for a while, how in the world can I get my pants to not wrinkle????? I am tired of ironing!!!! Even some tops. I've tried hanging stuff up straight from the washing machine, putting in the dryer for just a few minutes, putting in the dryer for a little longer then a few minutes, and putting in the dryer for less then a few minutes...nothing seems to work, I'm always ironing.
Oh how I hate ironing !!! I iron my husband's shirts because he doesn't want me to bring them to the cleaners.
What kind of fabric are your pants ?
