amuse, your log in name makes more sense to me, I've always read it as "a muse" like your one of the inspirational Greek muses!
My major was pre-med, then nursing, now English Lit.
same question
whoops.
yes, I can't stand it when someone gives me a "dead fish"!
College question.
Okay, I felt a little confused there; I hope you implied to ask the 'major in college' question, Shea.
My current major: nursing (finally approaching my last year),
My current double-major/minor/undecided: English literature and creative writing.
To the person below me: what do you consider your worst habit?
starting things and then not finishing them. or i'm a little bit of a perfectionist but only of myself, like everything i do i want to be perfect. dont expect everyone else to be but would like it :)
My worst habit: The hedonist epicurean pleasure of smoking.
What do you most wish you could change about the way others perceive you?
Physical attribute: my slightly receding hairline (yes, I admit it).
Mental/emotional attribute: my often contagious expression of emotion that seems to usually affect others around me.
To the person below me: do you speak any second/third/fourth languages, and if so, what?
French, Russian (if you're yelling it at me like grandma used to do) German (again with the yelling, but I can speak a bit) and I'm trying to learn italian. Trying, trying, trying.
To the person below, what other language would be useful to you in your country right now, i.e. for me, mandarin because of the incoming and existing population.
Russian. 40% of the population are russians. Immigrants from soviet times.
Excluding your mother language, what is your favourite language?
I love listening to portugese, had neighbours who would garden outside my window in the morning.
Person below, same question.
I speak much French, not considering myself fluent, but cannot call it my favorite sounding language. For that title, I may have to choose either Italian or Russian - both very exotic accents, in my opinion; though, Norwegian sounds beautiful, too.
To the person below me: since we remain on the subject of languages, what language do you wish you knew, or do you wish you knew better?
I wish I knew French and I wish I knew Persian better(I can speak fluently but have problem reading/writing)
Which book you wish you had written?
Perhaps all of the works of Henry David Thoreau, which would involve living ALL of his experiences - from living on Walden Pond to attending Harvard at an early age to travelling the Concord and Merrimack rivers for months to getting arrested for not paying taxes (refusing to award a country that supported slavery).
To the person below me: same question. :)
