ive heard/read that before about grapefruit juice tailor and it always has struck me odd. oh---you might enjoy hearing I bought some almond milk yesterday!

Mango juice is easy to make. Water, sugar (if you are allowed jugar, if not there is the natural sweetness of the mango. The quantity of mango depends on how thick you like your juice. The electric mixer does the rest.

I don't typically shop at either of the two grocery stores (wayyyy too expensive) that might even have mangoes danik---but maybe someday as a special treat.
I see! Here they are not so expensive in their season, because they are grown. Luxury fruit are strawberries and any kind of berries.

I have wild strawberry plants growing in a couple different places on my property danik. they are little itty bitty things, but they taste just as good. and I have a little boatload of blackberry bushes growing right next to my house.

supposed to be 100°+ F (38° C) for at least 10 days here starting today https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l...470ce44ebd8182 and fire season has been in full swing. Someone I know was evacuated yesterday, again, not looking good from looking at maps.... A family nearby (10 miles?) lost their home the other day... and it goes on. Getting go bags ready here, kitty carriers out (no threats... nothing within 20 miles I believe) - just being prudent.

Enjoyed the carrier article. I also received the advice (from a friend with a kitty who is displaced still due to a fire) of a kitty cdb (cbd?) treat (which had been forgotten) that can be purchased to calm kitties. Sadly (sigh) Rosie passed on yesterday... 10 years old. I had to tell my wife while she was at the hospital for an overnight (or more?) visit, but she had been resigned to the possibility for some time and took it well... me, not so much... not a good day. (Tinker Bell is fine.)

So sorry to hear about Rosie! This revolted, passionate, semi feral cat was my favorite. But if your wife was resigned Rosie had maybe some illness. 10 years is a bit young for a healthy cat.
Hope your wife improves quickly and is able to leave the hospital!
