I would hold an audition first.
Umm...we could use a guitarist; we already have a pianist. :p
Would you buy a painting from a stand on the street?

Umm...we could use a guitarist; we already have a pianist. :p
Would you buy a painting from a stand on the street?
If the painting were really good... why not? Although I'd rather decorate my home with paintings I did myself... :p
What's the name of your band, by the way? :) Aww, if only I could get there on time... but then I would probably have to take a plane.
Would you involve yourself in a growling fight with a street dog if you were in one of your craziest moods? :p
As would I. :)
If I were in the mood, yes. :p
If confronted with an angry dog, would you stand there an hope it goes away, or would you run?
I would most likely be transfixed to the spot...not much choice, ey!
Would you tell off your mother-in-law-to-be on the day of your wedding [before the wedding]???
Let's see. Let's analyze it. Analyze. Analyze.
If I ran away, it would run after me. Then, after hours and hours of running around in circles chasing one another, I would probably get tired and it would get me.
Meanwhile, if I just stood there waiting for it go away, the probability that the dog will go away is less than a half, seeing as it is angry and wants to do something really BAD, and in that case the dog is more probable to attack me.
Let's just say the confrontation happened in a dream. I'd wake up.
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Kareemah Ali overtook me!
:p
Well, my wedding day is years away... but well, I don't suppose I'd do that. I'm nice to my beloveds' (some of these are former, take note) parents, and I promised I'd always be :)
No. No. No. Definitely not.
Religion, for me, is a given fact, but never a factor that can change my love for somebody.
Would you continue to do something you liked even though your life may be in danger if you did it, seeing as you might also become a hero if you went on with it?
Yes, I wouldn't marry someone if their religious beliefs were different from mine.
But then again, I'm the type of person who wouldn't bother to get involved with someone who I know is different from me in that respect, especially if the person is very much into their faith.
I'm so sorry RoCKiTcZa, it shan't happen again!!
I'll post no new question for now...lol ;-)
It would depend on what it was. If it were something where I was helping a lot of people, then I would continue. If I weren't making any difference, then I would stop.
Would you leave your Christmas tree in an unapproved location?
Most of us here have got artificial Christmas trees we could just pack away and reuse next year :)
Well, I don't celebrate Christmas, and so I don't hve the problem of disposing/taking care of the tree.
Would you do purposefully do things to annoy your neighbour?
I agree with you on that. :) For some reason my country is very much into putting up those gigantic Christmas trees, which are all artificial but are so huge they tower over malls and coliseums in the area. At home, people put up those 12-foot artificial trees too. The only person I know to maintain a natural Christmas tree is my uncle, and I don't think he had a real Christmas tree anymore last year. :(
Storytelling again, eh?
Would you tell stories to street children for charity?
Ah!!! Kareemah Ali! :D
Hehe. All right. Well, if I were living in my old house right now, I probably would. To get even with the old man across the street who plays records of his voice a lot from gigantic speakers.
I would Love to tell stories for charity, especially to street children!!
What's a childhood without stories?! Unthinkable!
Indeed! I am storyteller myself, and I really miss the work I used to do when I was newly affiliated with our National Book Development Board :) (started out when I was 11, after winning a contest)
Say, you guys are still on!!!
Would you tell your mother right into her face to SCRAM?
No. I might think it, but I would never say it. Her feelings would be hurt.
Would you?
I would if I could, but I can't. Whew.
Yes, probably I will. But no, I won't.
Would you try to defy fate?
Do we really know what "fate" is? The lines seem kind of blurry between fate, coincidence, and "just the way things happen."
Would you suddenly leave your current town and just disappear somewhere with a new identity and life?
yes!!!! well depends on the reason.. but just for spur of the moment fun... yes!!!
would you keep in touch with people from your last life, if you dropped everything and started anew?
Only if I had been really close to them. And I might not tell them where I am, just that I'm okay.
Would you jump off a large cliff into the ocean below?
(Hmm...I don't know; quite large.) :p
At Sea World, where they don't bite people...:p
Would you?
I believe in pre-destination, as well as free-will. I don't believe in coincidence...I believe that everything happens for a reason.
now, as to Sarasvati's question:
I don't mind jumping off a large cliff into the ocean, as long as it's not a high cliff...lol..
Besides, I'm well-aqainted with the ocean...[afterall, I live on a Caribbean island]
Indeed; I love killer whales! :D Those gentle giants won't attack me, would they?
Would you accept the promise of immortality on the condition that you must live alone?
I did once, they were still pretty far from shore.. and I got out pretty quickly after the realization that I really don't like thinking about being eaten by a shark or a killer whale, however unlikely it is...
Rockitcza beat me to it...
I don't want immortality.. it would be so boring, with or without people.. though I do like time alone... hmmm...
would you spin in circles until you made yourself pass out?
Live alone...in my house? That's fine. It would be a bummer not to be able to interact at all, though.
Would you loan someone something if you knew you'd never see it again?
Oh gosh. This game is going all over the place.
And that's why I love it here ;) Do I still exist?
My answer to islandclimber's question:
Yes I have done that once; but for some reason it takes a long time before I get dizzy. I have lured my dad to doing so once when I was a little kid, and he fell down right away! :D
Wait... and my answer to sarasvati's question: Depends on how much this person needs it, and how much I needed it too. I'd rather give it to him--I suppose that should be the more appropriate word ;)
hey hey hey.. people are really bad here at remembering to ask a new question after answering.... :p :p
am I supposed to do something productive with my time or what?? :D
yes, you should do something productive with time.
would you ask a superior at work to return a cherished book that you may have lent them out of trying to do a favour?
"it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all!"
need I say more!! :D
and for Kareemah--- yes I think I would.. it doesn't matter whether they are a superior or not...
would you leave someone you loved because you wanted solitude?
no, I think I would take the risk.
Would you admit to someone that you lost their belonging that you borrowed, or would you try to replace it?
I'd do both: admit that I lost it, and try to replace it.
Would you rather leave a question unanswered, or an answer unquestioned?
No. I am kind of short. I've come to terms with it, and I rather like my height. :)
Would you do something you really hated just to spend time with someone?
