Could Aimus ask questions if he lived in a Black Hole, since even light cannot escape from thence? :brow:
Is Aimus related to Darth Vader? Is that just too random a question?
Doesn't this thread meander?
Does not it's future prosperity lie in how random the questions are?
Darth Vader? Nah, probably Jabba the Hutt is Aimus' sire, don't you think? http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/st...smiley-017.gif
What really is on Pen's avatar?
Need to borrow my bifocals already, Piglet? Can you not tell it is a rider on a white dragon? From the cover of Anne McCaferry's Pern novel The White Dragon? http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/haushalt/h015.gif
But what is the black shape behind it? Would you believe that I have needed glasses since I was about 7?
Can not spectacles be considered a fashion statement?
Aren't my current frames quite stylish?
If I had good eyesight, would I still need glasses to say yes?
You all should read Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Stoppard invented this game. And there are rules and ways to score each "game" and "set" and "match" that make it much more interesting, e.g., no rhetorical questions, no non sequitors. I think Stoppard may have come up with it by a careful reading of Waiting For Godot, but I could be wrong.
Stylish.......?!!!Quote:

Aren't the spectacles objectively fashionable whether RJ perceives them as such or not?
Since we all seem equally "sight impaired", would it not be good manners for me to explain that the "black thing behind it" is a tree, and is only appearing black because I had to shrink the picture to atvar size? http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/sportlich/n080.gif
Perhaps, Pen, are dragons nearsighted?
But isn't taste in fashion subjective to a degree? For example, don't you wear bellbottom pants and fuzzy slippers, ShoutGrace, thinking they are the height of fashion? ;)
(I gots to get you somehow for calling me Grandma! )
Are not fuzzy slippers worth embarassing yourself in public for?
Doesn't it sometimes feel good to be fuzzy?
Kathy, dear sweet Kathy, have you not heard of Dragonsight? Now, my mortal form, "nearsighted" is a polite way of saying "middle-aged", n'est c'est pas? http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/boese/r020.gif
@Pen: Having been nearsighted since the age of 6, I am not quite sure...can six year olds be considered middle aged? :p
@SG: How fuzzy do slippers have to be to be worth a public showing? ;)
What are we talking about? Near-sightedness? I wonder...do I count as a middle-aged sixteen-year-old, being near-sighted? Isn't it funny that glasses make one seem mature and bookish? ;)
Do you think that on older people such as me, that fashionable glasses actually make you look younger?
I don't think fashionable glasses (I have three pair and can only really use one!), are going to disguise my grey beard, do you, Virgil? http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/figuren/d030.gif
Why not go clean shaven and look younger?
Would that work for the ladies here?
Would you believe I had a mustache, not "peach fuzz" either, in the fifth grade? Besides, Virg, most people guess my age and weight to be must less than it is anyway, and did you ever think I might just LIKE my facial hair? http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/boese/a085.gifQuote:

Isn't shoe shopping one of the joys of womankind? :p
Does womankind love mankind?
You don't think "the stork" brought you along now, do you, Caesar?
And you did note that Kathy is jealous of my beard? :) :) ;) And wasn't Virgil and I complaining about how the ladies have the market cornered on footwear? :brow: ;) Sounds like subcribo signum vindico to me, no?
i'll just ask! what's up pen?
Is "I'll just ask!" a proper question?
Are not we here supposed to be knowledgeable in grammar and literature?
didn't you know i'm gramatical chalanged?
OK, the words mean "signed, sealed, and delivered", you really should study Latin, the pharses become things to ask questions about anyway, don't they?
Well, though I may not wish for a beard in and of itself, do you think it might be handy to have such a thing on my face and not have to worry about my makeup? Shall I stop posting now and in fact, go shoe shopping?
Well, is shoe shopping fun?
Why ask me? I'm the one with the beard on his face, which, by the way, saves me time in shaving in the morning; I've only worn makeup as a clown and the beard harms that wouldn't you think?   http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/figuren/a026.gif
Perhaps I shall answer then, shall I? Would anyone agree that shoe shopping is a mildly amusing way to pass the time?
Are we still talking about shoe shopping?!
