that's hard to fuse the two, they're so different. Good job on their part. I'll check YouTube for clips.
I see that you're having fun :)

I programmed tomorrow's SYTYCD on my DVD recorder :)
^ I can't wait to see which routines will be on the show.
let's make a guess. I say they'll have Trevis, because he's Mia's apprentice now. And it'll be a huge mistake not to have Neil, he's s crowd pleaser and chick magnet. They love Sabra, so she should be on too.
^ I'm not sure if the performances will be live, newly-taped, or just re-aired. If it's live or newly-taped, Neil might not be able to make it because he is doing a show on Broadway.
^ right, he's in real show biz now. I'd be very disappointed. Can't believe it's only an hour! Maybe it's just the old reruns?
^ Yeah, it'll probably just be re-runs. It would be difficult to get all the dancers back to perform.
^ bummer!!!!
"This Woman's Work" is the best routine out of all five seasons? Seriously, Nigel?
I know, it's hype because it's about breast cancer. I didn't think much of it the first time. This time it did bring tears to my eyes. That said, I don't think it's the best ever!
I like Brandon but I don't think his disco is the best disco. The best disco ever is Neil's Knock on Wood!!!
^ Yeah, I guess Nigel forgot about "Knock on Wood." I also would have preferred another one of Brandon and Janette's routines, particularly the Argentine tango or jazz.
Do you want to start the new thread?
I'm thinking you. You know so much more and you see all of the shows, both US and Can. Would you have the honor?
^ Done, check the General Music, Movies, Television forum.
saw it, posted on it :)
Ah...Max...that is a sweet poem you wrote to Niamh and her love....
Yeah, really...I think both your fathers would be raising an eyebrow! :brow:
Oh you go for thoese older gals, eh? Hey, honey, I can still rock it. I danced the whole night long at my son's wedding and mostly with his guy friends. It was a great fun!Quote:
That's close enough for me ... and I won't be ranting about age, no, no :p ... ... besides I know Brit ladies that rock!!! I can give many names :D
I will have to change my first name to an Irish one, since my last is name is very Irish (from my ex). Hummm... I must invest in some fiddle lessons. I can fiddle around on Litnet most days of the week!:lol:Quote:
Me too, especially for Irish ladies playing the fiddle :brow:
Sincerely, I do hope for that for you, Max. You deserve to meet a really nice and, likewise, deserving lady; one you can write a real love beautiful poem to.Quote:
Thanks for the wishes for my prosperity, Janine
Ok, I like that! A man who is polite, but assertive, one who doesn't stand by ceremony entirely; will go for what he believes in and wants. One who will stand up against all odds to win the heart of his beloved; now that is a true knight for you. I don't think though that you will need a S.W.A.T. team. Maybe just a horse and a lance! :lol:Quote:
Now let me add this.... I would talk to the father but if he refuses to give me his daughter, I am prepared for a kidnap
At my age, a man must be prepared for kidnapping elite operations, besides I've seen many S.W.A.T. procedures on TV/movies... I KNOW HOW TO DO IT
My advice to desperate bachelors: GO TAKE WHAT YOU WANT ... NOW
I hope they like it too... ;)
It would be more like a heart arrest for mine ...
GOOD FOR YOU!
"He who pays the fiddler calls the tune" ... so I'll pay you and you'll only play what I like... (kidding, you can play whatever :))
Most appreciated :)
I hope the same... I'm beginning to despair for it  .... any lady read this? Ahoy there!! I'm available!!! :p :D
A horse and a lance will do most of the job... I could impale the refusing father ...
However I could use some help from brave allies... say Lancelot, Percival, Gawain, even Merlin could do some magic to make Guinevere's refusing father wisp away!! :D
I am sure they will; now both of them are blushing...
I can imagine! I would feel the same way about my son.Quote:
It would be more like a heart arrest for mine ...
Yep, I was the just like his dancing banana. I should post one of my less embarrassing photos. My son's friends love to kid with me and so they all danced with me that night and it was great. Of course the next day my son wanted to disown me. No, but seriously, he and his wife had a ball themselves. I wish you could have been there. You might have meet a lovely young lady; there were a number of ones single that were pretty cute and nice, too and just around your own age. Hey, want me to play matchmaker? I just saw "Fiddler On the Roof"...:lol:Quote:
GOOD FOR YOU!
Ah speaking of fiddlers....ok, I will take requests....I'm easy...maybe something Celtic then?Quote:
"He who pays the fiddler calls the tune" ... so I'll pay you and you'll only play what I like... (kidding, you can play whatever :))
Yep, I guess I will have to think about this matchmaking business...surely my daughter-in-law has a few single girlfriends who feel just like you do. And take advice from an old veteran - never give into the d word - 'despair'! It is never too late; you are still young; so what are you talking about? I am the one who should be in the state of despair; except, I stopped looking awhile ago...seems that's when the opposite sex is attracted to you. It's a wacky world we live in.Quote:
Most appreciated :)

Is that Max's violent side? Yikes, impaling the father-in-law...now that's no way to win favor from the family! :goof:Quote:

How about employing the help from Ivanhoe. I just saw that film not long ago. Ivanhoe was pretty cool. Merlin is not to be trusted! He might wisk you away with his magic wand.
How could I miss it? YOU SHOULD HAVE INVITED ME... now to make it up to me you'll have to be my eternal matchmaker!!!
All the time!
Matchmaker this way please! :p
Really wacky world! Lonely good people, accompanied bad people... quite messed up everything is... lots of warped situations! :(
Nah! I'm not that violent. I would give the father the chance of a fair fight and even some advantage, to prove my good will! :D
I will have to watch my back from this Merlin dude! I thought he was to be trusted! :p
 at least for one night! Don't mention the next day, when I could hardly walk..
Now, tell me AmericanEagle, if you were all dressed up in your finest and were let loose with a room full of cute young men, most single, to dance the night with, would you be a wall-flower?
hahaha...first off, did you realise, Max, you posted this at 4:00AM; now wouldn't that be 5 your time? You also had me up posting till 3:30AM! I got to bed past 4:15AM! I missed out on my beauty sleep!
Oh yes indeed, so sorry you did miss the wedding; I didn't know you then, or I would have. You could have gone as my date, but branched out from there. Bye the way, my son has some Columbian friends. He also has some cool friends from the Phillipines, too. You would have fit in well with the whole gang. They all were loads of fun. My son and his wife also danced the whole night long; well, until the honeymoon started...haha..then they danced privately.:brow:
OK, fine with me! Can I fiddle bare-footed? I have seen those Celtic lassies doing so on TV.Quote:
All the time!
Yeah, really true. I should be a matchmaker. I could probably do a decent job of it. Hey, seriously though, you will meet up with someone nice soon...I feel it in your stars.:eek2::lol: My ESP is telling me it's true.Quote:

How 'bout a nice joust on a lovely sunny afteroon? haha....the advantage...you leave your mail home...Quote:

I will have to watch my back from this Merlin dude! I thought he was to be trusted! :p
Merlin is probably trustworthy; but then again, can we really trust those wizzard types? They are so elusive!
These guys started out hot, but then got a little more drunk than hot.......well, towards the end of the night, they got a little crazy. I don't drink, so don't blame me for my actions - must have been the endorphins! I was laughing my head off, when the crowd thinned out and they decided to strip off their jackets, neckties and vests to get comfortable, mind you, and these young pups got a little playful and a bit creative with their neckties...doing a sort of shimmy dance. Now, I am not complaining, since it was all in fun. I had to live down those silly videos, that they took all night long. I didn't care to relive myself (a middle-aged woman) dancing like a crazy person with all these young guys. I was wincing at the first showing of the video....sort of trying to hide under the sofa cushions. My wild dancing was imortalized on DVD. I will probably never live that one down. So the mom likes to have fun! *innocent look and big grin*.
See what fun you missed out on, Max!
TRUE! I went to bed at 5:15 so I almost slept nothing. It was much more fun staying awake and posting on Lit Net  ....
Huh!! ... those two naughty ones :brow:
I must confess... I'm quite a foot freak and it's all their fault... lassies playing barefooted.... yummy, yummy
I hope for your ESP to have all wires and sensors well connected
Interesting point... sounds eloquent
What a memorable moment... can we order the DVD on Amazon? Who was the director, Ridley Scott maybe?
Oh horrors! Thank God there was no marketing, nor a producer; it's in the archives in Hollywood, buried somewhere! Thank God, no one has suggested a second showing. Some of the views were truly blackmail material. Mind you, nothing indecent involving me:lol:
I think it was a late night hijacking of this thread. I will have to confess now, that I have a crush on someone with a very long name, but alas, he's too young for me....story of my life! Yep....
Actually, I should not say this; but I don't think they were naughty that night. They both were too worn out. Later, if they weren't a bit naughty, I would not have my lovely grand-daughter. Wish they would get naughty again and give me a grandson, too.Quote:

But beware, Max, before you go for kidnapping - Scandinavian ladies might have swords to defend themselves with if they don't want to be kidnapped ;) And surely their fathers would not be unarmed either, so you'd better be careful!
Poster's been doing some editing work lately :brow: ...
Aw, poor Janine! ... too young for you, isn't he? :p
I have always wondered what couples do when no one is seeing them. What's all this thing about honeymoon, and baby factory working late at night, uh? Can anyone explain? What's its appeal and how does it work? Aw, I'm so naive...
....
:p ...
Footsies  ....
I am Libra! Beware of the scales of justice! :p
That's what I love about Valkyries :brow:
... though... I can be really convincing :brow:
I was actually grabbing my furniture to move to this thread for good. It's such a lively house, Mrs. Robinson, that I thought I could just come and live here :p
Hey tiger, I have news for you, Mrs. Robinson is in dire need of her her beauty sleep! NO 4 o'clockers for me tonight. I am already looking like this :eek2: You'll have to delay you move till tomorrow night; I may be livelier then.
Wait! I missed this post. It's highly entertaining. You don't miss a thing, do you? I did edit something out; I wondered what others might think. I will tell you about it someday - as I said before - boys will be boys!
ahh...yes, just slightly...think so...Quote:

This Sleeping Beauty is going to bed soon....
I understand, I'm feeling eyelids falling too so I think I'll just follow your example this time :p .... Goodnight Mrs. Robinson
Okay :) ... and.... nope, I can't miss anything. I am a trained S.W.A.T. remember? :p
:D
 :D
:as-sleep: ....
 So did you make it to your pillow early? I still didn't get there early enough. I was watching 'Special Features' for a movie. If it isn't Litnet I am addicted to, then it's something else. Guess I am just nocturnal!
Okay :) ... and.... nope, I can't miss anything. I am a trained S.W.A.T. remember? :p[/quote] Remind me to tell you a funny story about one of those real teams.

Is Janine Mrs. Robinson? And who is Benjamin? Maximilianus?
Oh gosh, you mean the wedding story...those bad boys? I didn't forget, but only had so much room in my PM box; I have just cleared it out finally. I did send you two PM's already today in answer to yours. I will have to keep you waiting, Benjamin, for that funny story.
I am trying now to relax and watch a movie. I should have started earlier, right? No, it is not The Graduate....hahah....even though in 1967 that truly was my favorite movie!...that and Summer of '42, hummm...those were good movies...:brow:
