I would never call him/her an idiot, considering that much more can seem said with kinder words, but I would comment politely on certain aspects of the individual that may bother me, also emphasizing his/her strengths, providing, too, motivation for improving any weaknesses.

no, I would try to see things thru his/her eyes first and then ask if anything is troubling that person. Perhaps their 'being an idiot' comes from despair or hurt or unforgiveness so that they take it out on you.
If that failed I would definitely find another job.

Nope, I rather see them arrested, let justice take its due course, besides, I doubt I could kill anyone in cold blood, I'm not a killer myself, or so I think.

no, been there and done that. I believe true Love which does not look after its own interests, does not keep account of injuries will.......in the long run......heal whatever differences there are. If it doesn't it at least allows you to go to bed at night in peace having hurt no one. I hope it works out for you both.you are so worth them loving you.
