Minimum wage seems a little difficult to live on (as I tried it years ago), but, if I loved my job enough, of course, I would keep it. I would, however, also consider a second part-time job to keep up with finances.Quote:

well, no. I'd prefer a job that I detest yet pays me enough and that job better not be a 9 to 5 thing. Something like a 1 hour pays a lot of money job.. So that I can donate money to those in need and be happy soing it sating that it's all worth it...

Sure, I've done it before, and would do it again, It's just so much fun. Not that I do it regularly, except mountainbiking, but that's not so extreme in the netherlands, so I only do it when in a more hilly country.

I'm 45. To quote the movies "It ain't happening." However, we did extreme things with bicycles, skateboards, snurfers (a predecessor of the snowboard) when I was a teen in the seventies that are the direct cause of many of my broken bones. You ought to try going down a steep slope on a snowboard with a guy on your shoulders and a smaller guy on his. We did that often. Also a "rocking horse". Big guy is on two boards with hands and knees while up to three smaller kids ride his back down the slope. 70mph no hands on a 10speed bike pedelling in tenth gear downhill. Jumping the aparment complex steps on bikes not built for landing. Then on skateboards--I busted some ribs.

Yup yup yup....most definitely. Pendragon, it sounds like you had an eventful childhood :) I guess since I'm still pretty young I've still got that do-crazy-crap spirit in me. The island is hilly and kids will luge on just about anything no matter how poorly paved the roads are. I used to rollerblade a lot...and I'm not talking about just rolling through the park. If the opportunity came around to try some more hard-core stuff, though...

Nope, I've seen what crosses that channel, and I rather stay far away from it. It would be challenge sure, but there better be traffic signs, I'd hate to be run over by a massive container ship :D

my spirit is willing, but practically I have too many people to be responsible for. I watched a documentary once of this young husband and day and he did this extreme parachuting and finally the mountain he chose was well.......I watched with pounding heart and when h e made it I breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't until the credits I noticed to my horror a tribute to him. He had died on the next flight. No husband now, no daddy. so no unless it would be to go against an unjust law forbidding me to help others. Then I would do whatever it took.
