Well, I am sure Alba, Witherspoon and Klum are all somebody's next-door neighbours too... ;)

Amen!
Heheheheheheheheh. Agreed
sry to make you cry.
I can't belive nobody has mentioned Tom Felton ( Malfoy ) or Cristian Bale ( Laurie)!!!
Natalie Portman.
Especially in V for Vendetta
*swoons*
Hugh Laurie.
House you can be my doctor any time! :p
*nod, nod* I can't wait to get the whole series on dvd
Ummmmmmmmmm what agout Tom Felton?????? He's hot, right? or am I just crazy.
Why not? Michelle Yeoh would be tops. Greer Garson, Claudette Colbert, and Irene Dunn close seconds.
I can see Greer Garson. She definitely has the glamour thing going on. :) Irene Dunne is OK, too, but I think her personality on screen helps with that. Why Claudette Colbert? She was OK, but I never could picture her as being one that a person would have a crush on. What would put her on your list of close seconds? :)
Well, I'd have to say "It Happened One Night" is superb; what a spunky gal, and Gable is great too. But the film that nobody every sees, but which is similar in name to "It's a Wonderful Life," is "It's a Wonderful World." It's also with Jimmy Stewart and Colbert has a line throughout the movie, "I swear by my eyes." A killer line and she is just too much. I think the film was shot in two weeks or something, a really good film.
Yes, I see what you mean with "It Happened One Night". I have to admit Gable always did it for me in there. ;) I have heard of "It's a Wonderful World", but I have never seen it. I do happen to know what it is about. I figure that is one of those films that might suddenly appear on TV one night (and I will miss it, as usual), or it will be on in the middle of the night when I won't even be up to watch it! :)
Well, speaking of Claudette, have you ever seen the film "Remember the Day"? That isn't a film that people really have seen either. Playing opposite her is John Payne. Love this man! I actually really don't have a reason for my "crush", though! :p He is probably #1 (next to the singer Vic Damone :) ) for me! I love this man, and few people know who he is. So, I always ask if they've seen the original "Miracle on 34th Street". He is the lawyer, Fred Gailey, that defends Kris Kringle. :)
Ok ppl, no doubt, MATT DAMON is irresistible!!!
And I have to agree with you guys on Hugh Laurie..lol..my sis and I almost never miss 'House'!
LadyW, Thanks for the tip, Remember the Day; I'll search it down. John Payne's face looks familiar on IMBD, but looking at all his films, except "Miracle," I don't really know a single one for absolute sure. All these stars back then did so many films, 6-8 a year, and so many of them are buried. Carrie Fisher and Robert Osborne bring quite a few out, but there are 100's of them, maybe 1,000's. Actually, I haven't seen that Colbert movie in a couple of decades, so I'm really basing my appreciation on memory. In that film, she really kept pace with Jimmy Stewart who is certainly a legend.
Bryan Adams ever since I heard the song Everything I do I do for you
I have a thing for Jimmy Page, circa late 60's-early 70's. *sigh* :)

Oh, my dearest Audrey Hepburn, where be ye? My love of fifteen years gone!
Wait, I was 4 in '93...really though, she'd be the one. VERY interesting story, especially in her childhood. She hit Hollywood with a fawn. Not a mini-poodle or Chiuaua (sp.), but a deer.
Extremely attractive, a fashion icon, compassionate beyond compare (UNICEF ambassador late in life)...her general look is jsut my style, you know?:
After much consideration...

Love a guy with a guitar ;)
Hows that for variation!?
I one hundred percent agree with James McEvoy.
Michael Cera is great! I definitely have some form of crush on him, although it's more just because he's so cute and dorky. The characters he plays are all so similar, I'm convinced that's exactly what he's really like. Which is great.
James McAvoy, yes. :thumbs_up
I would actually marry James McAvoy, I really would
I think I am the one person in the world that doesn't like James McAvoy. :p I mean, he isn't a bad-looking guy, I just don't find him to be even remotely appealing enough to get ga-ga over. :) I seriously wish I understood it! I do sometimes wish, when so many people find one particular person incredibly attractive, and I don't, I could see what they see! :p
Jake Gyllenhaal and Hayden Christiansen on the other hand.....:D There is just something about them. :)
Oh, by the way, I am in love with Harrison Ford all over again! I was reading something today about Indiana Jones, and oh Heaven knows the man was a god in my eyes as Indy! I always said the most perfect man looks like Indiana Jones and has Han Solo's personality! :D Then sombody had to say "They're the SAME person". Well, yes and no!!! :D Still, I think Indy's personality is pretty great! I could give up Han Solo for him! Just looking at him again with his whip and fedora, the man has become Indiana Jones all over again and I am in love!!!! :p
I've always had a big crush on Winona Ryder, not just for her looks either.
*SHOCK*
-He's got big blue peepers
-He's scottish
-He has the most adorable freckled nose
-His name is James
Although if you're over 5ft 7" then perhaps not - he is rather short. However, I'm 5ft 6", once I've murdered his wife - I'm in there! :D
:D hmmmm....
Well, the eyes don't do much for me, but I do have to agree with the accent. One really can't go wrong with a guy that has a Scottish accent! :D
If it matters at all, I do remember watching "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and thinking Mr. Tumnus wasn't that bad-looking. :p
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...8/mrtumnus.jpg
I just love that you have him on your list! :D
this is the funniest thread I have seen yet... lol... Maybe someone like... hmm.... well Ingrid Bergman! and Natalie Wood I was always have thought was beautiful.. for some reason the black and white movies always made the actresses look so much more beautiful than the ones today... more appealing to me lol... I just don't know why... Never really had a crush on a modern actress...
by the way, LadyW... Hayden Christiansen looks way better in "Life as a House"! lol.
It is indeed a hilarious thread. And I quite agree with Ingrid Bergman. :thumbs_up

(BTW, Arwen is lovely. Always dreamt on being even just a microscopical twin of her. )
I freakin' love Michael Vartan!

Isn't he gorgeous? Just look at those eyes... oh my gosh. *drools*
