Aye. I've only sailed as a passenger, once, in a relatively small craft nearly 40 years ago... It was wonderful :)

Making up stories?
Used to travel by motorboat with my dad's work associates. One was a professional hydroplane competitor who live on Lake Washington, Washington State... We got to go on many excursions in his everyday boat while the adults water skied circa late '50's early '60's. I tried waterskiing once back then and once in California, 1979/80?, and never was able to get the knack of it.

Nay... I tried a journal for a very short time and a blog for a time (which led to writing more poetry :) , and gave up both. My fb page is mostly shared funny stuff I find on the web (mostly cats, I think) and poetry and uplifting shared posts... no politics.

Aye... we just had an event at church Saturday where I took a number of pix of our chili cookoff/silent auction fundraiser for our youth... and some family history stuff where we use a Family Search app to see who we are related to in the room for those who participate (I had a bunch)... I took screenshots of the results... need to upload to our church's fb page tonight :) Also took some pix 2-Saturdays ago at a Nature area with those of our Thursdays at Two poetry group... need to polish up my poetry from that outing

I think my difficulties may have arisen due to too many smileys/emoticons... after editing a number out from my saved post (saved to the clipboard) it seemed to settle the post's mood.

Aye... I've framed individual poems and given as gifts to my elder Grandson (Rock and Roll subject poems), hand crafted poetry books to my Daughter and 3-Grandchildren a number of Christmas' ago, hand made birthday cards with my poetry included... made a few odds and ends in woodshop in high school gifted to my Mother... and maybe a few others I don't recall just now.

When I was a child I used to make birthday and Christmas presents for my parents. Ì remember making the Christmas crib figures out of garden earth. After some time they all lost their heads because garden earth isn't the same as clay, but I didn't know the difference.

Nay... I do not keep in touch with anyone unless they live nearby or they/I can "messenger"/text them, family or otherwise... Even then I "speak"/message only when approached first (I hate to bother anyone).
