Nay for myself but I don't really have a problem with it, besides thinking it's a bit silly.
Minimalism as a design philosophy?
Well, simplicity, Classicism, all that's desirable, but it needs to enrich the human experience, not impoverish it. So I don't know if that's an aye or a nay--it depends what you mean by Minimalism. Baroque as a design principle is an atrocity (nice music, though).
Special parking privileges for pregnant women?
Pared down, less is more, etc. I was sort of specifically referring to interior design however.
Aye. I'm around pregnant women pretty much every day and it really doesn't seem very pleasant; they deserve a lot of consideration.
Carbon offsets as a purchasable product?
Well, in principle it's not such a bad idea, but in practice I don't see how you could regulate a market like that--and there is some potential for abuse. I don't know, I guess I'm skeptically open minded about it. How's that for a hedge?
