It would depend on the situation and how well you got along, some people are easier to get to know than others...I wouldn't be able to put a time period to it.

(I asked the Q about dating more than 1 at a time because I tend to just date 1 person at a time without knowing how things will turn out. My friends keep telling me that I am limiting myself and should date around until a relationship starts to get serious)
