for more of my "on going" problems---when i go post i get directed to a page that says "site not secure" and i hit "post anyways" and then i am logged out, i have to log back in.
I'm using the last Windows compatible Safari browser (version 5.1.7) that has eliminated my login problems :)

Verify if it continues safe, tailor, as Safari is a modern browser. Some of these browsers were ok during some days, then the Litnet page appeared disfigured again.
This is some modern device trying to protect you from Litnet, bounty. The solution I found for myself was keeping my usual browser for the other sites and installing a less sophisticated or modern browser, like DuckDuck or Sea Monkey specifically for Litnet. I have Litnet on all my device tablet, phone and the problem affected Android too.Quote:

If the browser is old you hopefully have solved the problem. I don't know the reason, maybe older browsers lack some protective element against unreliable sites and so old dear unreliable Litnet is tolerated :).

Browsers of the Google family are the worst, but they aren't the only ones. Russian Yandex was ok for about three weeks and then it presented the disfigured Litnet page.Quote:

But you won't have to memorize a different password, bounty. You only have to add another browser and save Litnet on it. When you want to log in you do it with your usual password.Quote:

You are just having to get used to the high speed internet and its problems. Actually you would have two browsers. Your official one, which you use for most things (Edge?) and a new one specific for Litnet. But if you are unsure it is better to wait until you meet someone that can install it for you. And you need a good anti virus to protect your PC.

its no biggie to install a new browser danik, plus i already have chrome here, but i wouldnt be able to use chrome because i dont know my password and remember, i dont want to try to reset my password for fear of getting locked out. maybe i'll try it someday, but if i ever up and disappear, that might be why!

I understand you completely, bounty. I avoid using most Google products because every time I use them I have to change my Microsoft password. In your case it is as if you had bought a new PC. It would maybe be good, if there is that possibility if you had a technician ( friend, acquaintance or professional who could install one or another thing for you and explain some of the issues. I have such a technician near by and it helps a lot...Quote:

I think you have hit the nail on its head: modern browsers, specially those of the Google family, think they have to protect one against insecure Litnet and other insecure pages. It probably needs a technician to fix that. Some older browser aren´t sophisticated enough to adopt this Kind of protection.
If you want to make your password visible, maybe the best is to write them somewhere where you can find them when you need them.
