Yes, English is my first language and shamefully my only one....I tried French, but I was just terrible at it; I have no talent for learning other languages, unfortunately...wish I did. I commend all of you who know more than one!

My first language is persian and I might say that i'm so happy about it cause otherwise this would be rather a dream to me as it's a beautiful language and one of the hardest to learn as the second language.

I vote for a yes, but then it could be a no, as I only speak English outside of my home and the rest of the time spent in the house is speaking in Mandarin. That, I guess, could be counted as bilingual but then there's a lot of terms in English that I probably would be better at if I speak purely English. :)
No. I'm from the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium so Dutch is my first language. French should be my second but my English is a lot better ^^;.
Truthfully, I do speak english back home..with friends & my sisters..but haha we tend to mix it with our own language..
I think there is a rise in those mix languages now..especially in Asia.. the singaporeans got singlish and i cn safely say that back home, it is also a mix of english and malay..

Czech is my first language. I can also speak, read and write in Slovakian (which is basically almost the same as Czech). And I am also able to say two senteces "This cat is dirty" and " I do not understand German" in German. And I have been learnirng English since I went to basic school.
