Yep, the website is called naturallycurly.com if anybody's interested. We talk about hair, hair products, then just like here there's a "nonhair discussion" board and thats generally where the trouble starts and they can fight about everything....Quote:

That sounds good, (and I hope it is), but I do hope that you won't need to play that card. Thread very carefully if you do. It may win you the battle and cost you the war, if you get my meaning. Company politics can be such a bind. :brickwall Anyway, remember to cover your... er... bottom to the best of your ability.
Hey Papaya that was a wonderful interview. I thought you were a baby like me! It is really good to know that there are smart women like you out there. That is inspirational but I guess a bit intimidating to the male ego. Thank you for sharing with us.
Why intimidating to the male ego? I work with women. They are not intimidating nor do I try to intimidate them.Quote:

Yes, I wasn't claiming you were. Let me clarify my question. Why would Papaya (let's say she's not afraid of her boss and stands up to him) be intimidating to the male ego? Are you saying that the male ego cannot handle strong women? Is it not possible that the male ego can work with strong women just like it can work with fellow strong men?Quote:

Please send me the questions that you wish to ask from RobinHood3000. :D
I've met more men that cannot than men who are able to. (in life in general, not in work).Quote:

AAAAHH!!! Sorry, apparently I started something that was not intended! I simply meant to compliment Papaya, but this whole male vs. female thing could go on endlessly. Sorry about that.
Another awesome interview to read :D God I love this thread.
Papaya, I admire you for your obvious love of math and for taking the engineering world head-on...I am good at math, but sorely dislike it...right now I'm working for a construction company and I'm glad to say that here, too, men are for the most part decent and accepting of a woman in the midst of a male-dominant occupation...it's never perfect, but it's nice to see women in places we never would have been only such a short time ago...
I'm going to have to subscribe to this thread so that I will know the absolute MOMENT robin's interview is posted, lol...
I've got the opposite problem with math, I like it but I suck at it most of the times :p
Same is the case with me. I like Maths but I can't even do simple questions. Hey but I can. I can if my friends show me their's, then I can copy them. :p
