i read alot , and after i read this book i fell in love with it. does anybody else love this book like i do?
I completely agree that this book was well written but i'm not so sure it can be considered a masterpiece. The book has survived through the generation but i feel like there isnt really anything that can be learned from this book. Now I do take into consideration that Frankenstein was originally only supposed to be a ghost story but for some reason it just doesnt stick out in my head. Frankenstein was good but it just doesnt compare to the greats like Shakespeare and so on. Maybe i just didnt read deep enough into the literature but thats how i stand now. It just seemed like the entire book was building up to a maginificent climax and then before you know it the book just ends...Victor dies and the monster fades off into the horizon. It all seems too corny for me but what do i know. more power to those who enjoyed it
