Amen.
He was to my mind the star of the show.
The sermon was excellent in its content and the delivery was something else.
There are certain sections of the British establishment that are, ( how can we say?) too British in terms of reserve.
Bishop Curry was having none of that. He was impassioned, humorous, articulate and certainly not reserved.
The faces and body language of some sections of the congregation were a joy to see: starting with a look of polite interest & amusement, that then bordered on a fear that this man of God would break into a happy clappy scenario with everyone swaying in time to a good old evangelical singalong.
