I read this story a long time ago, it's kind of a reoccurring theme at Christmas, especially in movies, so I would have thought that someone would have brought it up by now. My copy was a story book with a ton of different Christmas stories in it, and this is one of the ones that I remember the most. Surely someone else has heard of it?

It was enjoyable to hear the daughter warn her father not to tell another pig story and her not letting him leave a story in an unacceptable ending state.
That's the one! It's been a while since I read it but I did remember the whole fairy makes it Christmas everyday after she makes her wish. I will have to see if I can find more of his work.
