And I'm required to wash my fridge using only a wetex cloth and some Fairy liquid. I have some fabric softener -- do you happen to know if adding it to the mix will make my fridge smell less like I've been keeping Amelia Earhart in it?
Thanks in advance.
Best place to start is by actually reading one of her novels. The Age of Innocence (Pulitzer winner), Ethan Frome and The House of Mirth are probably her most popular works, so you could do worse than starting with one of them.
Docheart: What in the world is Fairy liquid?
Fairy liquid, man! :)

So it is. I had to look that up, and apparently it's Proctor & Gamble's big European brand of dishwashing liquid, which I guess would make it the equivalent of Dawn here in the U.S.
And I daresay the fabric softener will simply make your fridge smell like Amelia Earhart with clean clothes. May I suggest that you simply remove Earhart first before cleaning (and bury the poor woman while you're at it)?
sorry, i can't be of any help here :(
