Run Rabbit Run
I want an Easter bunny-girl
Wrapped up in silver paper
If she were mine she’d peel it off
I wouldn’t have to make her
I’d put my arms around her
And seductively she’d melt
Surrendering to passions
Stirred as all her curves I felt
But sadly Easter bunny-girls
Have not been made that last
For after just a single taste
They disappear quite fast
One nibble of a chocolate ear
Invites a bigger bite
And when you get down to their toes
It’s time to say goodnight
Then all that’s left is silver foil
Upon the bedclothes, shredded
And lips all smeared with chocolate
From the bunny-girl you bedded.

But the sweet memory remains....nice witty poem Hawk.

The anology seems true. Once you finish with them, time to move on.
Nice poem.

Very cute. It just hops along with its rhythm and rhyme. If you get a bunny girl for Easter, does it mean you're lucky, or that you're going to "get lucky"?
By the way, there's a bit of folklore that maintains that if you sight a single rabbit, that's a lucky sign. (It must have something to do with carrying around a rabbit's foot, but as the old joke says, it wasn't so lucky for the rabbit himself.) This morning while taking a walk with a couple of family members, we spotted two rabbits. Does that mean we're doubly lucky or does seeing two, rather than one, rabbits cancel it out?

Truly enjoyed this one! :D

Delta, Prince, Shadows & Pensive: thank you all for reading and enjoying and I'm happy to have given you a giggle.
Auntie: Thanks to you too, of course. I've not come upon rabbit rhymes as you describe them. Over here it's Magpies that are associated with, "One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl four for a boy..." etc. It goes on rather and I can't remember the rest. I've also heard that it is applicable to nuns (though possibly only in Ireland) :D

B4B: Many thanks for dropping by. Wit on the wing? A soar point - LOL
Elsie93: You don't know me well enough to call me Hawk, and if you can't do more than copy and paste someone else's comment, you're never likely to.
Kitty: That picture cracked me up! Glad you enjoyed the poem :D
PP: Many thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much.

I'm really very late for the party but just dropped by to say it was great fun to read this poem. It is good to be back after what seems a long time (due to my erroneous internet connection) and get refreshed. Wish you good luck... but certainly not this one -
