One is not dumb if one is unable to comprehend. Illiterate people are not stupid; they simply cannot get it alone. Perhaps you might consider helping them understand, instead of condemning them to their own struggles. :D

hay bren if you are so smart why dont you say something in my thread above "A tale of two cities- New found interest". And yes i agree that many are unable to appreciate the complexity of the book, but many are not as interested in the book as you and i and so don't give it a chance. Also dickens dosn't give a uninterested reader a chance with his wordiness.
