Hi everyone
i am interested in emily dickinson poetry, i want to know about the use of color in her poetry. Can you help me to find such kind of symbols in her poems. what are the most important poems in which she used the color purple and why? what does purple refer to in these poems?

I have to say that I wish I could help - the poems that I have studied of Dickinson have been some of my favourites. But I am not an expert and have little awareness of the colour purple! She often likes to use cornet imagery to examine and explore things that lack definition - I expect colour would be sort of similar to this technique. I guess connotations of purple... power? Not really sure!
