Quotes doubt
Here's a couple of quotes i'd like to identify:
1. All that is necesary for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing.
2. Heretic is not the one who burns at the stake, but the one who ignites it.
They aren't literally, but that's all that comes to my mind.

I've heard #1 in a variety of forms before.

The first is unequivocally Edmund Burke. My old man likes to say "The only thing that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing but quote Edmund Burke all the time."
Can't help ya' in regards to the second, though.

I think i like your old man's quote better. Thanks. :D
About the second, someone told me that it sounded as it could be one of shakespeare's. I'm not sure of it.
