fall

autumn leaf loyal
warm sepia burst in
firework finish,
down-to-earth steady
nets red-cheeked divers
in hushed consolation
for icy portent;
that hasty frost-breath
bullies bittersweet, corkscrew,
radial farewells

"(fall's) radial farewells"... hopefully leaving space for the new to come...

this was my first thought, of autumn's continual return, with the words, 'loyal' and 'steady'.
