Old Major

I really need some help.... I need to know what did Old Major do throughout the book?

Old Major does very little - he dies a short way in, so you won't need to read too far.

Well, Old Major died right at the first chapter, so technically he did nothing. But, he was the one who inspired the animals to revolt against the humans and wanted better for the farm, but his ideas were distorted by the controlling, "communist" leadership of Napoleon and Squealer.
