Think of a song that you like (or that you think a fellow member would like) and recommend it to them/send them a Youtube link.

This could work!
Though I have nothing of value to add at this time I will keep my eyes open for an opportunity.
I'm not sure if we're allowed to post Youtube links (?), but I'm going to chance it, at risk of being told off.
Before I begin, I just wanted to point out that these aren't messages through the lyrics... in most cases.

I didn't at first and then a good friend of mine, who I never thought would like her, told me to listen again. And I did because well, he stocks half my ipod hah - and I loved her.
Plus, someone er, who used to be close to me said I reminded him of that song. And it grew on me ever since.

hmmm.... I send Hold Music by Architecture In Helsinki to Niamh, because that video clip is bright and random, and I love the song - it makes me happy, and so does she! :D
And I send Taxi Driver by Gym Class Heroes to limajean. The quality isn't that good, but I chose this song 1. because I like it :D. 2. because it is full of band references (I think there's 30 band names mentioned?) and you're always recommending books and talking about music and things. It seems logical in my mind :p. Also I love the video to it. Those were the days, before they got big. I love their older work so much better.
