What's the most accurate way to spell Dostoevsky? I know that is an accepted English spelling, but what would Russians want us spelling his name like?
I've seen.
Dostoevsky
Dostoyevsky
Dostoevski(i)
Dostoyevski(i)
Dostoejewski(i)
And so on.

Doesn't it depend on how it's romanized?Fedor Emelianenko's name in russian can also be Fyodor.
UFC fan? :D
No. Thats wrong.
Фёдор is how it's written on Russian. 2nd letter is on west very often pronounced like e, what is wrong. e with two dots on it is pronounced like yo. Why do they left dots out, I don' know.
So it's Fyodor, not Fedor. And it's not Emelianenko, it's Yemelianenko.

Have fun!
Something like that, yes.
Dostoevsky is the correct spelling, however my American edition reads Dostoyevsky, and that's how i tend to spell it.
I always feel uneasy when it comes to spelling Russian names since I am not used to them.
