A partner
Okay... I got this from a neurologist.
First. Think of your favourite animal, any animal. Now list five reasons why this is your favourite animal....
I will, at some indefinite later point write what this means.. can't say it yet because it would spoil everything...
Cheers!

cat
they are lazy yet sharply alert, soft yet fluid & precisely coordinated (yes that was 1 answer!)
they are regal
they bestow themselves upon us
they have mesmerizing eyes
they like to rub against my legs and purr so that i will pet them for hours
-
Monkeys
Clever
Capable
Physically strong
Deep, intelligent eyes
Sense of humour (or at least they do like they have great sense of humour)
Some say monkeys are ugly but I find their 'ugliness' cute... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they said. :)

Hey hey hey, wait, does this "partner" thing have anything to do with this? :D
Well, I don't *really* have a favourite animal, I like all animals, but I do have some favouriteS.
Squirrel. (Bet none of you could have guessed.)
Cute, perky ears,
small, scampering,
nut-loving,
lightning-fast,
adorable;
would make a great pet.
Sadly we don't have any squirrels in Australia...
Sugar glider.
(Also called squirrel glider...)
Beautiful beady black big eyes that glint in the moonlight
shy little mouth and pink nose
oh-so-soft grey fur
folds of membraneous skin used to fly with (glide with)...
creature of the night.
Of course, all other sorts, too, like feather-tailed gliders, and possums as well though they're not as small, they're as cute...
Monkey.
Playful, mischievous
full of life,
darting from branch to branch,
cute, furry,
intelligent.
I especially like squirrel monkeys...hmmm....is there a connection...

right. Now according to this very intelligent neurologist (he really is a smart fellow) those five qualities, are exactly what we are searching for in a partner. (as some of you, incredibly smart people have undoubtedly guessed already) so, please do, go look at your pets with new astounded eyes....
