I'm an international student in US. The professor of the economic class wants us to write a letter to the president about th prices of houses getting high in US. The reason of the problem and the solutions. I really have no idea where he came up with this topic. And I don't really know the economy in America since it's not my country. He wants us to use the terms :

- GDP or output.

- Fiscal Policy.

- Down Turn.

- Recession.

- Subpime Mortgage

Could anyone please help me with any information ?

Just buy a newspaper - most newspaper accounts of this situation have all the terms you included.

Lol i know GDP means Gross domestic product which is basically the amount the money the country makes and divides it between the population (wages)
