Three People Haiku
Not another haiku thread you say? Oh well! Work with it! http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...echachacha.gif
To play this game:
Person ONE creates a five syllable Line-1
Person TWO creates a seven syllable Line-2
Person THREE creates a five syllable Line-3
No one has to repeat a line from any other haiku, each one stands on its own.
So, guess I'll commence (since I thought it up, though B-Mental helped me with the name of the thread) :thumbs_up
On a wind swept shore
-
On a windswept shore
landless logs there did accrue
-
On a windswept shore
landless logs there did accrue
let us picnic here
-
ok, so now what? Do I just pick any old 5 line and put it in there, if so...
Rhubarb pie slices
-
Rhubarb pie slices
spinning around in my head
-
Rhubarb pie slices
spinning around in my head
Like a big blender

-
Dangerous concepts
Are societies worst fears
-
churning around in my head
(cool thread Kiz :) )
-
uh oh, Kiz how we gonna fix this...maybe we can have a cave poetry jam to find out who wins
hmm, kiz logged fifth, should we try first line wins, and then you can post the next line?
-
Aah B, I think it's me messing things up (this happens in haiku all the time!). I think I've got it - I'll finish yours:
Dangerous concepts
Are societies worst fears
blindly locked away
-
blindly locked away,
when the time for locks is gone,
what to do with sight
-
Okay...here's my five:
when I first saw you
-
when I first saw you
leaning against an oak tree
-
When I first saw you
leaning against an oak tree
I saw tomorrow
I agree, btw, with B-Mental in that if two posters simultaneously make their contribution to the haiku -- then perhaps (to avoid hurt feelings, etc.), the first poster is the one that the next guy follows....
does that make sense? ;)
Thanks all, for jumping in! Next person gets to start a whole new haiku...
