I can't seem to find more than one online, could anyone help me out ? And/or opinions on his work would also be interesting for me. I'd like to know what his poetry is like.

Beauty makes us lose our head. Poetry is born of this decapitation.
I love his poetry, he writes daydreams and nightmares. He first and foremost considered himself a poet but I highly recommend his films as well.
If you don't read French (where you will 'get' his poetry much better) you might have a hard time finding a lot of his works translated to English online, but this site has some under "texts" and his "L'Ange Heurtebise" can be found here :)

Thankyou for the information, if only all forums and their moderators were so kind. I did give the thought that it maybe difficult to find English translations of his work.
Thankyou again x
I remember watching "Orpheus" several years ago and being stunned by the quality of the poetry that comes out of the radio at several points in the film.
I still remember that as some of the most evocative surrealist poetry I've ever heard.
