what place does the GMT belongs to in this forum?

Greenwitch Mean Time. That's basically THE zone. All other timezones are expressed in + or - from GMT. Oh, where is it? London and the rest of the UK, and uh... north and south of there.

east and west. not precisely on longitudinal lines, though.
