haiga contest

well, this is sort of an offshoot of the poetry contest thread in the forum, but a bit more specialized.

haiga is a form of haiku that combines artwork and painting with haiku-writing. So i thought it might be fun to try that here - either the same way as things are in the poetry contest thread, where one picture is posted and everybody writes poems about that; or everybody could post their own picture and the poems and pictures could be judged each week by the winner of the last contest - or it doesn't evn have to be a contest, if people would rather just write poems without having to worry about competition.

Yay! Mirry. That's excellent. Personally, I'd prefer if it were more like the Google Image game, and one person posts a picture and then the next writes a haiku about it, and then that person posts a new picture. But it's your thread! :D I'll do whatever.

actually that would be great! but hey - where's your haiku on my bananaguy then? :p
