I have not read this short story by Kafka, called Josephine The Singer (or The Mouse Folk), but I found some information here that may help!

I have not read this story yet, but I would not be surprised if Josephine is a mouse, too, because Kafka has his own ways of doing things.
He is always surprising and fresh!
