Mythago Wood
Has anyone here read Mythago Woods by Robert Holdstock.
I just picked it up off my books shelves recently (Can't remember where I came by it). :goof:
Still I started reading it at a leisurely pace, and i'm quite pleased to say that I've almost finished it.
I love the dynamix of the story, the inpenetrable mysterious woods that bend time and space, the mythago's, the vortex, and the workings of the inner woods. I also like the hero, and the heroine, and the unexpected villian. My goodness, I'd love to live in a place like oak lodge, the Rhyhope woods, merely for the adventurish aspects.
I also am a great fan of Celtic/ Nordic tales, and this novel is chocked full of Celtic, Anglo-saxon, norse mythology. Truly it has so far been a brilliant work.
Your thoughts anyone who has read it?
You can find more info here, Anyone interested I can suggest Mythago Wood as an enjoyable Fantasy novel, which seems plausible.

So, I'm the only one.
Ye gads, nobody has obviously heard of this book aside from me.
Mwahaha how enpowering.
"I'm the only one!"

I read this when I was a kid, too long ago for me to remember much about it. I would like to re-read it again now, I might understand it better (I was 10 or 11 at the time)

Its quite good, a bit dry in some places, but really livens up as the story progresses.
