Self- Pity by DH Lawrence - your thoughts
I quote "I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself"
I have so many thoughts about this poem, which really touchs me, but I am still unsure of its meaning, would any like to cast there thoughts, please. Would like to know what others think.
