I am trying to come up something intelligent to say about it all... But it is a challenge normally - as you can imagine - and after 3 am it is even more taxing... Maybe later on!
I am still viewing it and it just struck me as to how much of a power play is going on between the two magicans. It's getting complicated, when the assistent now goes to work for Bale. It's even more complex than my first viewing. I might just have to watch this one a second time this time around. I am noticing much more than my first viewing years ago. Back to the movie....

Scher, so what did you think of it? I just finished. It all came together for me at the end; although, I am beginning to watch the extra features now to find out more takes on the story. I kept wondering if Falon and Afred loved the two different woman....glad that was explained at the end. Do you think that Alfred was actually the man hung? I didn't catch his last words. Did anyone else? If he truly was hung, then Falon was merely taking his role (now as one person)? Apparently, they did switch roles back and forth throughout the story, so really, I suppose they both were magicans? Did Robert shoot his clone and why in that one scene, when he first made the copy of himself? This can get really confusing, when you think about it too long. Also, now he knows at the end he suffered intolerable in his clone form when drowning. I thought the ending scene was handled very well, with just the hint at the body in the water box. Cool film!
