I'm always so cruddy at pickin' out movies. But I love the film Off The Map --, so I'll nominate that one. I'm sure there's a Wikipedia cite for you all the give it a glance over.

I liked that movie "Off the Map" as well. I hope my library still has it. I thought it was well done. However, if someone thinks of something else they would rather see, please do mention it. What type movie are you all in the mood for?

    Jim Henson's Labyrinth!

I own this movie so I'll definitely be able to watch it with everyone. (Like I need an excuse to watch Bowie in those pants)

I recommend 'Dogville', it's a pretty special movie because it is filmed on a stage-like set with almost no props. Most people I know would never watch it because of this, yet if there is a place where people appreciate such a movie, it would be here
'Off the Map' looks pretty good too..

Sorry Dodo, but I hate that movie "Dogville"...I saw it ages ago and thought it was interesting at first, but then that ball and chain made me crazy and laugh at the whole thing. I guess it was a good experiment; but I doubt others here would like that type film.

My library has "Off the Map" and I have been wanting to see it again. I hope now we pick that one. I think it's quite good.

About the chains, it's set in 1930.. But yeah, it's definitely a very special and polarizing movie. And it's heavy, not graphically but psychologically. Well I too would prefer 'Off the Map', because I've already seen Dogville. Just thought it would be a good and unusual suggestion.
